Yep – PDF Librarian

Yep — PDF librarian

More and more objects in the real world are becoming digital. We are less likely to take ordinary paper photographs, the number of books sold or published for free in electronic form is growing, services for storing notes online are becoming popular, and electronic document management is no longer a fantasy. Almost every type of content has its own cataloguer: it’s more convenient to store photos in iPhoto, music in iTunes. The developers from Ironic Software felt that Mac owners lacked a convenient program for working with PDF, and offered their solution – Yep.

Yep is a fairly convenient cataloger of PDF files. Once installed, the application will find all PDF documents that are stored on your hard drive. The search takes a little time, if you wish, you can limit it by allowing “scanning” only individual folders.

As a result, you will receive a library of PDF files in which the documents are already organized. Yep has several sorting criteria, the main one being tags (although you can also use folders, collections, and smart collections). You can read PDF using the built-in client, as well as any other reader (for example, Preview).

And although Yep itself is a pretty good program, its price is unreasonably high – $34.
