The trailer for the romantic comedy “Yesterday” has been released. The film tells about a world in which no one knows about The Beatles except one person.
The main character of the film named Jack at one point realizes that he is the only one who knows about The Beatles. He tries to play a Paul McCartney song to his family, but they haven't even heard of the great guitarist. Therefore, Jack decides to act as the author of legendary hits himself and becomes famous.
The film is directed by Danny Boyle, who directed “Slumdog Millionaire” and won an Oscar. The script was written by Richard Curtis, known for “Bridget Jones's Diary.”
The role of the main character was played by Himesh Patel. Together with him in the cinema we will see Lily James and Kate McKinnon.
The poster published on Twitter says that “Yesterday” will be released in mid-July. However, the Russian-language trailer says that the film will hit theaters in the fall.
