On Windows 10, you can now make and receive calls from your Android smartphone

Windows 10 now allows you to make and receive calls from your smartphone through the Your Phone app. All you need to do is install the companion application on your Android device.

Thanks to this innovation, right from your computer, you can:

  • answer incoming calls;
  • make calls from using the keyboard or through the contacts list;
  • reject calls using a manually created SMS message as an answering machine and receive calls to voicemail;
  • view call history;
  • < li>smoothly transfer calls from your computer to your smartphone.

To use the function, you will need a computer with Bluetooth, a smartphone running Android 7 or higher, and an insider build of Windows 10 numbered 18362.356 (19H1) . Later, calls will be available to all users of the operating system.

Other functions of “Your Phone” include the ability to view an image gallery from a smartphone, read and respond to SMS messages, and receive notifications.
