From the director of “Equilibrium”.
A trailer for the horror film “Children of the Corn” – an adaptation of the Stephen King story of the same name – has appeared on YouTube. The film opens in theaters on March 3.
The film will show “the rise of the next generation of evil.” In the story, twelve-year-old Eden, possessed by a spirit in a dying cornfield, recruits children in her small town to take power into their own hands. Having secured support, she arranges a real massacre, eliminating all the adults in her path.
The film was directed by Kurt Wimmer, who directed the cult “Equilibrium” and the disastrous “Ultraviolet”. The main roles in the film were played by Elena Kampouris, Kate Moyer, Callan Mulvey and Bruce Spence.
Most likely, the film will be released in Russia.
